Implementing a child helpline as a collaboration in Srikakulam district operating in 14 Mandals. Under this program, we are achieving a benchmark of reaching 700 to 800 children in difficult situations like child labour, child marriage, child abuse, child trafficking, abandoned children, street children, missing children, child beggars etc.  A 9 member team is working on rescue of children in difficult situations round the clock, and during the last 9 years, 4776 children were rehabilitated after rescuing them from difficult situations with the support of line departments like police, revenue, women & child welfare, education, welfare. During rescue the children were provided with food, clothes, medicine and cosmetics under project budget. More than 2000 children of them are orphans or semi orphans sheltered at child care institutions or taken care of by their relatives. We are supporting them by providing education material, dresses, blankets, school bags, supplementary nutrition etc., as per the needs of the children.
