Education and Research Activities
Andhra University, Waltair; Dr.BRAmbedkar University, Srikakulam, Centurion university, Parlakimundi and Geetham university- vishakapatnam recognized the services extended by YCB to the rural and urban communities and shortlisted our NGO as partner. These institutions deputing PG students doing Social Work, Rural development and Agriculture faculty for conducting Block field work and Concurrent Field work to our Projects.
During the year 5 Social work Students deputed by the Department of Social Work, Andhra University, Waltair who were completed Block Field work for 25 days successfully. So far 105 students completed their fieldwork/Practical work in our organization and pursued Jobs in Government departments and private agencies
Most of the MSW students who completed their filed work under the guidance of Project Director-YCB, got placement in DCPU,APSACS,NRHM and DWMA programs implemented by Government Departments. Graduates of Agriculture deputed from Centurion University, Parlakemunssdi who did practical work in our organization were also got placements in both Government and Private sectors.
Mrs. Gopamma Daka, Asst. Professor, Department of Environment sciences, Gitam University,Visakhapatnam selected our NGO as partner to conduct research work to observe findings on use of Bio-fertilizer promoted by research fellows of their university
The fertilizer applied in the fields of 4 identified farmers in Bejjipuram village. The research programme will be in progress. During the year 20 students were deputed by Govt.
Women’s College Srikakulam and 12 students deputed by Govt. Arts college for men for Internship Programme launched by Higher Education Department. All these 32 students successfully completed Internship under Balavikas project, ChildLine and Target Intervention project for 120 days
