Milestones

  • Conducted Gender Sensitization among Youth, Women, Adolescent Boys and Girls  

  • 5 Swakrishi Thrift and Credit Women societies Promoted which are self reliant. 

  • Empowered 6735+ women and youth by imparting Vocational skills, Soft skills, Entrepreneur skills  and technical skills and promoted them as entrepreneurs. More than 90% of them are rural women and women in slum areas of 3 Municipalities.

  • Mainstreamed 8750 out of school children, Child Labour, and migrant children into formal education by enhancing their competencies.

  • Provided skills to 10688 farmers in organic farming and sustainable agriculture.

  • Channeled youth force in 100 villages for the Development of rural areas after giving proper motivation and skills

  •  20000+ IOL/ cataract operations done and Acceptance letters taken from 750 Eye donors.

  • Care & Support Extended to 1112 HIV affected and infected children and their families in 7 Revenue mandals and mainstreamed with Govt. schemes.

  • Two Community Based Organizations separately promoted for both FSWs & MSMs and TGs and capacitated the managements of CBOs

  • Capacity Building was given to 150 Tribal Farmers on NRM Activities.

  • Build Capacities of 2025 farmers in 11 Water user Associations in 11 villages of 4 revenue mandals to make better use of irrigation Tanks and promoted livelihoods. 14 Irrigation Tanks renovated & 1 Open Well constructed with community partnership and created irrigation facilities to more than 2000 acres of land

  • TB Program was implemented with the support of TB Alert UK and in collaboration with department of Medical and Health and reached out with quality information to 2.00 lakh people in coastal villages of 4 mandals and referral services extended  to 5526 persons suffered from TB infection

  • Accelerating Access to Sanitation in rural Areas in Srikakulam district, an initiative to prepare 20 GPs in 5 Mandals of Srikakulam district open Defecation free status with the support of UNICEF and collaboration of District water supply and sanitation Department.  5 NGOs network was led by our NGO to achieve goal. It was implemented during 2015 February to March 2016 and efforts were made and  achieved Open Defecation Free Status.

  • Successfully constructed 1000 Individual toilets to BC,SC,and ST families in 100 villages of 6 Mandals of Srikakulam district with the support of CAPART ( under the aegis of Ministry of RURAL Development,GOI) and ensured people’s participation.

  • Career Guidance and Counseling centre has been implemented to support 150 Rural Youth to improve their skills and competencies with support of Ministry of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Youth Affairs & Sports under NPYAD Scheme.

  • Took up rescue operations during Cyclones for the last 25 years in the Coastal Villages of Ranastalam,Etcherla, Gara and Srikakulam Rural Mandals extended immediate relief such as milk, medicine, Food, Water to victims. Participated in post Cyclone Operations  of HUDHUD, NEELAM cyclones in Gara and Srikakulam Rural Mandals

  • Conducted Capacity Building to 375 Water User associations in Srikakulam district in Phase I & and promoted management skills to Management Committee members further in Phase to we have conducted capacity building to management committees of 200 WUA’s in Joint Azamoish, Agriculture and Tank Water Management

  • Conducted Mapping & review of childcare Institutions in 7 Coastal Districts from Srikakulam to Guntur for assessing the status of Childcare institutions for which we have constituted 8 teams consist of 4 members in each team among them one was Govt. Nominee. The assignment was given by CHILDLINE India Foundation supported by Ministry of Women & Child development, Govt. of India. 

  • Run 65 USHA Silai Schools with the support of USHA International and Sidbi and imparted tailoring  skills to 1000 rural women. 

  • Constructed buildings of 8 Class rooms and repaired 10 class rooms damaged by the HUDHUD cyclone  with the support of Astra Microwave product Limited- Hyderabad through CSR funding support in Government High School – Narasannapeta and ZPH School- Gara

  • Implemented CHILD HELP Line 1098 with an aim to rescue and rehabilitate children at risk with the support of CHILDLINE India Foundation-Mumbai under Mission Vatsalya Scheme of Ministry of Women & Child Development , GOI. During the last 12 Years around 7000 children at risk were rescued and restored with their families or provided rehabilitation.
