About Us

Youth Club of Bejjipuram is a secular, apolitical organisation founded by 20 elite and educated youth inspired by the Mahatma Gandhi philosophy of rural reconstruction through non-violence activities and Grama Swarajyam in the year 1980. The aim of the organisation is to infuse human values by serving the needy, downtrodden and underprivileged sections of the society. It plans to achieve this by inculcating the culture of mutual cooperation, mutual aid, self-help, self-respect, as well as  participation in the decision making process, to attain empowerment.

CSR Funded School Construction

Construction of infrastructure of two government high schools damaged in Hudhud Cyclone after getting permission from the District Collector- Srikakulam with the support of Astra Microwave Product Ltd., Hyderabad, under CSR funding support.

Sanitation In Rural Areas (UNICEF)

The program is initiated with the support of UNICEF  to achieve 20 “open defecation free” Grama Panchayats in five mandals of Srikakulam district. The efforts are continued with the support of NGO networks of NATURE, SWEEP, ARTS and GUEST to motivate 10000 families.

Krushi Jal Jeevan Hai Program 

Conducted awareness meetings in 70 villages of Ranastalam and Laveru Mandals in Srikakulam district. Involved farmers, women SHG members, local body representatives, youth groups and village level functionaries in the campaign.
